The Advanced Diploma in International Taxation (ADIT) is a postgraduate-level qualification in international tax, awarded by the Chartered Institute of Taxation (CIOT) of the United Kingdom.
It is the global standard for tax professionals who work on cross-border tax matters — treaty interpretation, transfer pricing, oil and gas taxation, BEPS, and the digital economy.
Every ADIT student must pass this paper. It covers the OECD and UN Model Tax Conventions, treaty interpretation, residence, permanent establishments, BEPS, Pillar One and Pillar Two, and international tax avoidance. It is also available as a standalone certificate.
Covers the arm's length principle, TP methods, OECD Guidelines, BEPS Actions 8–10, Country-by-Country Reporting, and dispute resolution. Available in June and December. Standalone certificate available.
Covers oil and gas fiscal regimes, ring-fencing, production sharing contracts, transfer pricing in energy, carbon pricing, and the energy transition. Available in June only. Standalone certificate available.
Most students start with Paper 1 (Principles). Speak to Bill at Profs if you need guidance on sequencing.
Each module has a list of books you are allowed to bring into the exam. These must be original physical copies (bound by the publisher). Bill will advise you on which books to buy and where to source them in Ghana or online.
Enrol in your Profs ADIT course to begin structured preparation. Live classes via ProfStudyMate, recorded sessions, structured notes, and past question practice.
→ Enrol HereExams are taken online from your laptop using Exam4 software (downloaded before the exam). You sit at your chosen location — home, office, anywhere quiet.
Results are released approximately 10 weeks after the exam date, by email from CIOT.
