About This Paper

What is Strategic Case Study?

The Strategic Case Study is the final and most integrative paper of the ICAG Professional Qualification. Candidates receive a pre-seen case study (a complex, realistic business scenario set in a Ghanaian or African context) weeks before the exam. In the examination, unseen material extends the case — and candidates must demonstrate the full breadth of their knowledge across financial reporting, audit, taxation, financial management, strategy, and governance to advise senior stakeholders. This paper defines the Chartered Accountant as a trusted, strategic business adviser.
